Service membership of the RSL is open to anyone who is currently serving, or has previously served, in the ADF or in the armed forces of Australia’s allies. It provides serving and former personnel with a sense of mateship and camaraderie among people who share similar life experiences.
Service Members are entitled to a $2 OFF all main meal and $0.50 OFF beverages.

Affiliate Membership is an RSL membership category designed for family members of current and former service personnel. It is also open to current or former members of the police, fire brigade, ambulance services, and SES. Its purpose is to offer a form of membership that helps preserve the connection and legacy of those who have served their country in times of peace and war.

Life Membership of the League is awarded to Service Members who have demonstrated long, continuous, and exceptional service to the organisation. This honour is granted only with approval from the RSL National Board, following a recommendation from the Victorian State Branch.
